“Dear John”, they said, “we are able,
By means of secret charm,
To rid you of Year Twelve
And save the school from harm.”
“Please do,” he said, and so the two
Started on their way
And sowed the seed that soon would lure,
Year Twelve away from acts unpure,
Upon a Magical Mystery Tour.
Like greedy rats they took the bait
And many found they could not wait
To discover the itinerary,
Of what was of course a mystery.
They schemed and probed to no avail
The secret of the Pipers trail.
They pried and tried but couldn’t trace
The location of that magic place,
To which they would be taken.
