Page 2 - 1999_The Pied Pipers of Jesmond
P. 2
The Jesmond school in Lambton North
By famous Stockland Mall,
The F3 freeway long and wide
Washes its wall on the western side
A prettier spot you never spied.
But when begins our ditty,
A time, not so long ago,
To see the school folk suffer so
From vermin, was such a pity.
Cats! Bloody Cats!
They invaded the classrooms, they killed the rats
They bred like rabbits and crapped on the mats.
Their smell was vile and the cleaners they scratched
But dear reader, they were not matched
By a group of young ‘uns of high repute
Whose story into now we’ll delve,
We speak of course, of our Year Twelve.
This group ‘tis said were born in heaven,
I doubt that much, as shall unfold
The devious plan now to be told
That took these young folk from their place,
So that they would not themselves disgrace.
