And so it happened the following morn

The sun was shining, ‘twas a brilliant dawn,

And Year Twelve gathered at that round school hall,

Our reluctant trio this time heard the call,

And made them complete, one and all.

Awards were heaped on those who strove

To reach their goals and do their best,

And each and everyone was proud

To be a part of such a crowd.

The Pipers shared their memories

Of two rewarding years,

And showed a show that blow by blow

Reduced them all to tears.

On their behalf their Captains

Spoke of times gone by,

And they proved wrong the saying

That big boys they don’t cry.
